Tips for a Successful Education Session Submission

 

Did you know that only 18% of the 375 proposals were accepted for this year’s education program at Convention? Here are some tips to create a compelling submission and stand out during the review process. Don’t forget the deadline to submit is December 15, 2023!   Submit A Proposal

Tip #1: Session titles and marketing descriptions are the two primary pieces of information that attendees use to decide which sessions they are interested in going to.

Tip #2: The description you submit will be used on website and used in marketing materials and promotion. How well your description is written reflects your professionalism and expertise and will be a factor in review and acceptance. Be sure to double check for typos or incorrect grammar in the descriptions.

Tip #3 When submitting your Content Outline, remember that the overview should align with the learning objectives to demonstrate what attendees will take away from the session.

Tip #4 When choosing the Content Categories (Fundamental, Applied, or Strategic), consider the audience you are trying to attract to your session and their goals on what they can expect from your session.

Tip #5 The highest rated education sessions often include audience engagement to integrate the viewpoints of peers into expert discussions.
