There is a new ‘wildlife’ attraction gaining traction with tourists in New York.
Visitors are booking night-time walking tours to see the Big Apple’s rats.
The New York Post claims tourists are going on tours of rat-infested corners of New York City.
Real New York Tours added a stop on its city tours to stake out rodents near Chinatown.
“They are like the new celebs in New York City,” owner Luke Miller said.
The city has long had a rodent problem and this year appointed a ‘rat czar; to clean up the streets.
The city also issued new rules for storing and collecting garbage and the first Anti-Rat Day of Action was held in Harlem recently.
