Sabah tourism on its path to revival

 

Only lesser than 1 million travelers came to Sabah in the course of the initial five months of this year, as

stated by the state’s Chief Minister’s newest tourism statistics.

Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, Chief Minister of Sabah, said that local and global travel entrances touched 988,680, increasing 77.1% compared to the year before.

From January to May last year, visitor influxes went to 558,169.


Tourism statistics concerning the five months of this year indicated that Malaysian inhabitants showed
706,203 visits and global travelers another 282,450. ]

Tourism incomes fetched MYR2.02 billion for both local and global visits.


The Chief Minister said that the presentation evidently validates that the tourism segment in Sabah will
endure developing powerfully this year and in the years coming ahead.

The state administration will endure to revitalize and progress the tourism segment with the help of numerous programmes this year.
