Thanks to strong demand, Singapore Airlines (SIA) Group continued to see passenger traffic rise in June.
It saw robust passenger numbers and load factors across all regions.
This was in part thanks to increased demand during the mid-year school holidays and the start of the summer travel season.
Singapore Airlines and Scoot traffic grew 34.8% year-on-year.
Group passenger load factor increased 5.1% to reach a monthly record of 90.6%.
SIA and Scoot posted record PLFs of 89.7% and 93.6% respectively.
The airlines carried a combined 2.9 million passengers during the month.
During the month, Scoot resumed services to Changsha and Wuhan.
As of the end of June 2023, the Group’s passenger network comprised 116 destinations in 36 countries and territories.
