Croatia Airlines and Europcar, one of the leading car rental companies in the world, signed a Fly&Drive service collaboration agreement, which enables passengers flying Croatia’s flag carrier to purchase their airline tickets and arrange for car rental services in one place.
The collaboration was launched last week at Croatia Airlines’ Technical Centre at Zagreb International Airport, where Ford vehicles were parked next to an Airbus aircraft, given that Ford is one of the major partners of Uniline Mobility or Europcar Croatia.
The collaboration agreement enables passengers to buy an airline ticket and rent a car in all the destinations of both Croatia Airlines and Europcar in the world in just a few simple steps on the following website: www.croatiaairlines.com/hr/rent-a-car . At the same time, passengers can collect Miles & More award miles, given that Croatia Airlines and Europcar both participate in the said loyalty programme.
– We are happy that, by joining forces with Europcar, we have expanded the offer of our additional services, and are continuing to raise the quality of all our services both in the air and on the ground. I believe that many passengers will take advantage of this intermodal transportation service, that is, they will combine travelling by air and by road in rented cars. This will make Croatia and its destinations even more accessible in a simple and efficient way – said Slaven Žabo, Commercial Division Director at Croatia Airlines, at the signing of the contract.
The Europcar International franchise for Croatia has been owned since 2010 by a company that operates within the Uniline Group, a leading destination management company in Croatia and the region. Uniline Mobility’s team of 66 employees renting more than 1100 cars of the new generation provide an excellent 24/7 service in accordance with the high standards of the Europcar brand in all major Croatian cities and airports.
– Thanks to the collaboration between Croatia’s flag carrier, Croatia Airlines, and Europcar, the largest car rental company in the European Union, we are continuing to improve and expand our services. Thanks to this agreement, our services have now become more widely available to an even wider range of users in more than 3,800 offices in over 140 countries around the world – said Dean Filipović, CEO at Uniline Mobility.
