Cruise Lines International Association is surveying almost 10,000 travel agent members across the UK, to seek their views on sustainability and responsible travel.
The results will be used to help shape future trade-friendly resources and training materials in environmental practices.
The questions include how well-informed agents feel they are about cruise sustainability activities, and specific areas of customer interest.
It will also ask about preferred tools for picking up the latest insight and know-how.
“Sustainability is an absolute priority for the industry. We are committed to helping agents to develop their all-round knowledge,” said Andy Harmer, CLIA UK MD.
“We would encourage member agents to fill in this survey as it will shape our future plans, as well as better support them to assist customers and colleagues.”
“The more we can work in partnership alongside each other the better equipped we will be to meet our climate ambitions.”
“Everyone’s view counts.”
