UAE confirms Eid Al Adha 2023 dates

The UAE has officially announced the dates for the upcoming Eid Al Adha 2023 holidays.

As per WAM, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) in the UAE, the Arafat Day and Eid holidays for public and private sectors will be observed from Dhul Hijjah 9 to 12, 1444.

These dates correspond to Tuesday, June 27 to Friday, June 30, 2023.

Work will resume on Monday, July 3.

The holiday is traditionally a busy time for the hospitality industry in the UAE and a popular time for travel.

Eid Al Adha translates to the Festival of Sacrifice and is one of the most important dates in the Islamic calendar.

More public holidays after Eid al Adha 2023

The Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birthday follows that, with a public holiday on September 27.

Commemoration Day falls on Friday December 1, followed by National Day on Saturday, December 2 and a further holiday for National Day on Sunday, December 3.
