Rebel Hotel Company adds Miami Beach hotel to portfolio

Rebel Hotel Company (RHC) has assumed management of The Meridian Hotel Miami Beach. Located in the South of Fifth neighborhood in Miami’s Art Deco district, the 73-room boutique property is the company’s first hotel in Miami Beach.

“We have strong roots in South Florida, and we are excited to expand our presence into Miami Beach with a hotel that will benefit and utilize our industry-changing capabilities,” said Brian Sparacino, president/CEO, Rebel Hotel Company. “We started Rebel Hotel Company with the basic concept of breaking the box and changing the way boutique and independent hotels operate based on their unique structure, services and offerings. The one-size-fits-all management model does not work, and we saw the opportunity to solve that need with our technology-driven approach. The Meridian Hotel Miami Beach is the exact property type that we had envisioned and that we believe will thrive under our management.”

Daniel Simon and Pedro Miranda, cofounders, Cambridge Lansdowne, said, “Our strategic relationship with Rebel Hotel Company will allow The Meridian Hotel Miami Beach and our team to benefit from their innovative technology solutions and experienced management style specifically designed for our unique needs. Our company values and future-thinking approach aligns with what we have seen from RHC, and we look forward to implementing their operations strategy which will undoubtedly add value to the property and to our team.”
