Tamil Nadu tourism launches coffee table travel book

 

The Tamil Nadu tourism department has initiated a coffee table travel book which has information and details regardingkey tourism attractions in the state.


B Chandramohan, the Principal Secretary and SandeepNanduri, the director of tourism published the book that has particulars of the cultural activities like festivals, economic undertakings and the rich history, cuisine, archaeology and wildlife of Tamil Nadu.


In 2021, the total number of tourists who visited Tamil Nadustood at 11.65 crore, of which 12.3 lakh were overseas tourists. Last year, national tourism doubled up to 21.9 crore. However, foreign tourists dropped to 4 lakh. B Chandramohan said that they wanted to expand on the manifold features of Tamil Nadu. The travel book also throws light on the 10 well-known contributors to the economy of Tamil Nadu.
