GrizForm Design Architects, a hospitality design and architecture firm based in Washington, DC, has added Tamara Dennis-Gamage as an architectural designer.
Dennis-Gamage brings a collaborative and science-driven design approach to the firm’s growing team and will work directly with clients and consultants to create functional and beautiful spaces primed for socialization, according to the firm. Her addition also serves as part of GrizForm’s continued initiative to boost internal capacity to meet increased demand.
“Tamara’s depth of experience and approach to design made her a natural fit for the firm,” said Griz Dwight, principal/founder, GrizForm Design Architects. “Utilizing her ability to engage stakeholders to envision impactful social spaces, she will continue to be a valued asset to our team.”
Dennis-Gamage earned her Bachelor of Science from Cornell University, making the transition to architecture after realizing the similarities between the scientific method and design-thinking process. Eventually receiving her Master of Architecture from the University of Virginia, she has since worked across numerous verticals comprising commercial, residential and religious projects. In her new role at GrizForm, she will assist with design efforts from concept and architectural detailing to construction documentation.
