FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. – Staying up to date on technology and education allows travel advisors to maintain their competitive edge and offer the best possible service to clients. Dream Vacations and CruiseOne is continuing to invest in its home-based travel advisors by launching an extensive Associate Onboarding Toolkit designed to help its network of independent franchise owners successfully onboard associates. Additionally, Dream Vacations and CruiseOne is unveiling a new Romance Travel Training Certification.
The toolkit features an improved associate training manual, along with several activities that help associates explore different travel scenarios, research options, and seek feedback from franchise owners.
The new resource coincides with the one-year anniversary of the travel agency franchise’s Dream Vacations Advisor program, which matches people who want to become independent travel advisors with existing, successful travel agency franchise owners. The one-of-a-kind program launched in March 2022.
“Our goal is to provide a powerful tool that will allow franchise owners to build a tailor-made onboarding program for a seamless transition,” said Charity Santiago, director of training for Dream Vacations and CruiseOne. “The toolkit has customizable features that will help owners select the tools that are the right fit for their business as well as meet the unique needs of the associate that is being welcomed to the team.”
In addition to the Associate Onboarding Toolkit, Dream Vacations also introduced a new Romance Travel Certification program. This course is designed to train and certify travel agents who specialize in or want to focus on romantic getaways and honeymoons. The certification program covers a range of topics, including romantic destinations, honeymoon packages, babymoons, vow renewals, travel tips for couples and more.
“The Romance Travel Certification program is an excellent opportunity for travel agents to tap into the lucrative market for couples looking to plan a romantic getaway,” said Drew Daly, senior vice president and general manager of Dream Vacations and CruiseOne. “We understand the importance of providing specialized training and resources to our network of travel advisors so they can offer the best possible service and experience to their clients.”
