Azul S.A., “Azul”, (B3: AZUL4, NYSE: AZUL), the largest airline in Brazil by departures and number of cities served, announces today its preliminary traffic results for December 2022.
Consolidated passenger traffic (RPKs) was essentially stable compared to December 2021 on a capacity (ASKs) increase of 6.7%, resulting in a load factor of 77.6%.
"2022 was a remarkable year for us. Azul was the most on-time airline in the world in 2022 while demand for our products and services remained extremely strong. We ended the year with record fares and RASK, and we are even more excited about the opportunities ahead of us as we enter in 2023,” says John Rodgerson, Azul’s CEO.
