Virgin Hotels, the luxury-lifestyle hotel brand by Sir Richard Branson, has named Martin Sinclair corporate director of operations, North America.
Based in Miami, Sinclair is responsible for ensuring an enhanced guest experience that provides elevated hospitality services across the entire Virgin Hotels portfolio. He will craft innovative strategies to excel the performance of the Virgin Hotels brand, according to the company.

Prior to Virgin Hotels, he led high-performing teams at 10 Four Seasons hotels and resorts in seven countries: Canada, the U.S., Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Singapore and St. Kitts-Nevis. Most recently, he was the GM of the Hualalai Resort Club, Kona, HI, a property managed by Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
During his time as GM at the Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver, the property received Forbes Travel Guide’s Five Star Award for the years 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. Additionally, the hotel achieved the Isadore Sharp Award of Excellence for outstanding performance, an award in which only one hotel from The Four Seasons portfolio is chosen from every two years. As GM at Regent Singapore, a Four Seasons Hotel, he launched several restaurants and a bar; the Manhattan Bar becoming one of the most awarded bars in Asia. During Sinclair’s tenure as GM at Four Seasons Resort Nevis, the resort was recognized by leading travel magazines Conde Nast Traveler and Travel and Leisure as the number one resort in the Caribbean.
