The Fundraising arm of the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) has an appraisal over $10m USD to support projects, since its formation in 1988, SITE Foundation.
Through the string of annual event, funds were raised like SITE Classic, SITE NITE North America SITE NITE Europe and also significantly through donations from SITE Chapters, SITE Members and industry at large.
Listening to the fact on how the Global community of incentive travel professionals has benefitted from the funds SITE Foundation has raised for professional development and learning content and research, and grants, bursaries and awards, as today it generates its first Impact Report.
Kevin Regan, CIS, MBA, 2022 SITE Foundation President and AVP, Global Charters and Incentives for Azamara stated that on the contrary a key element of their mission was to raise funds and to reach their full potential. Their Board of Trustees determined that a better, clearer, more comprehensive articulation of their impact was necessary.
This is the reason why they had produced the Impact Report, tallying on how SITE Foundation has invested a staggering $10 million USD back into the incentive travel industry since the Foundation’s formation in the late 80s. The report also shows how they spent over $1.7m USD since 2016 alone, supporting 105 projects, and impacting over 16,000 individuals.
Likewise, Annette Gregg, CMM, MBA, the CEO of SITE & SITE Foundation added that SITE Foundations mission was to raise funds to drive the business case for incentive travel and motivational experiences, and another key factor was to support professional development within the industry.
Their inaugural Impact Report channels the real, tangible difference that their programs make year in and year out on the livelihoods of incentive travel professionals all over the world. It demonstrates unequivocally, to their supporters, sponsors and donors and also an extraordinary impact of their generosity.
