With its mission to establish and guide the focus and direction of the association, the GBTA Board of Directors hosted its second town hall for 2022 yesterday to connect with members, partners and industry stakeholders and showcase updates and what’s ahead for 2023.
GBTA Board President, Denise Truso, was joined by presenting Board members – Mark Cuschieri, Maria Chevalier, Sue Spear, Sharlene Ketwaroo-Nanoo, Rosemary Maloney, Will Pinnell and Tammy Routh – for the virtual event including Q&A.
“For business travel, the industry, and for GBTA, the trajectory is forecast to continue moving forward with recovery. We’re looking forward to continuing to elevate our efforts and outcomes for the many voices and one purpose of our industry. You can be assured, we, your Board will continue to support, guide, be the sounding board for Suzanne and the great team to deliver on our collective priorities for you. This is your association,” said Truso.
The session outlined how GBTA is aligning to forecasts for the industry’s continued recovery and how in 2023 GBTA will continue to deliver member value, drive global engagement, advocate for sustainable industry growth, curate events with care, and nurture its resources. Committee updates and outlooks for Sustainability, Membership, Volunteering, Education and Advocacy were also shared by the Board presenters.
