The Latvian airline airBaltic announces that it has started a new cooperation with the international mobility service provider SIXT. This partnership will offer everyone to conveniently add a car rental option (payment on arrival) to their reservation, when booking a flight. Moreover, members of the airBaltic Club will now earn loyalty points during car rental in more than 2 200 locations across over 105 countries, operated by SIXT and its franchise partners.
Māris Rudens, Head of Loyalty and Partnerships of airBaltic: “We are always looking for new ways to make the airBaltic Clubloyalty program more and more attractive to its members. Thus, it brings a delight, that the internationally recognized mobility service provider SIXT has broadened the list of our partners. Additionally to the very simplified and unified car rental option while booking a flight, now, each car rental, depending on length, also could provide up to 1 200 airBaltic Club points per eligible rental worldwide. This is a double benefit.”
Regine Sixt, Senior Executive President International Marketing, Sixt SE: “We are very much looking forward to our cooperation with airBaltic. Our companies are two highly successful and popular international mobility brands that offer attractive travel benefits to their customers. Passengers can now easily add a car rental option with SIXT when booking flights with airBaltic and enjoy convenient travel. They will benefit from our international branch network, our extensive premium fleet and our world-class customer experience.”
The airBaltic Club is a loyalty program, where it is possible to earn loyalty points and collect stamps while travelling and receive various rewards. Members can earn points every time they fly airBaltic or use the services of other travel partners.
The loyalty program is designed to be beneficial not only for frequent travellers but also for those travelling occasionally. Customers who travel less can receive valuable rewards as well – for instance, free heavy baggage and advanced seat reservation among others.
