ALTA will bring together the airline industry's top executives in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires, Argentina, will host the 18th edition of the ALTA AGM & Airline Leaders Forum, the flagship event of the Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA). The event brings together the leaders and decision-makers of the commercial aviation industry in Latin America and the Caribbean.

More than 400 senior representatives from airlines, suppliers, civil aviation authorities, industry associations, and allies will gather this year in Buenos Aires, Argentina. From October 16-18, they will discuss topics such as the policies needed for the deployment of sustainable aviation fuel production and distribution in the region, new technologies for more efficient operations, best practices from other regions, prospects and plans for legacy, low cost and regional airlines, operational safety, regulatory harmonization, blockchain and the future of NFTickets, among others.

"Being the main event for leaders of the airline industry in Latin America and the Caribbean, we honor the responsibility of offering a valuable agenda for participants, as well as valuable networking and collaborative workspaces that result in opportunities for the region. This edition's agenda revolves around sustainability and growth plans for the industry in the region that is recovering its number of pre-pandemic passengers the fastest in the world. The event will host more than 50 speakers, important announcements from almost 20 companies, and dozens of collaborative meetings. We are confident that the event will once again provide a space for decisive discussions regarding the future of aviation," said José Ricardo Botelho, executive director and CEO of ALTA.

"ALTA maintains a proactive and collaborative work agenda. ALTA's Forum is a fundamental occasion to continue the work we have been doing throughout the year. We seek to strengthen ties and provide different points of view that constitute even more accessible aviation in the region that generates better opportunities for the population in a sustainable and environmentally responsible way," added Botelho.

The distinguished speakers include CEOs of legacy, low-cost, and regional airlines, fuel, technology, and operations experts from the Americas, Europe, and the Caribbean, regulators, and leaders of the industry's prominent organizations.
