Modern updates to Massachusetts Sheraton

Sheraton Boston Needham Hotel, a 247-room full-service hotel located in Needham, MA on the I-95 Corridor, has completed a $10-million renovation to all guestrooms, lobby, restaurant, indoor pool and meeting space. Refurbishments include new interior design elements, bedding, furniture and carpeting. Bathrooms have been updated with shower conversions in all king rooms. Extensive upgrades were also made to all common areas and food & beverage offerings. Group One Partners was the architect and interior designer for this project.

“We’ve had a strong rebound post-pandemic with business nearing 2019 levels,” said Shawn Rodriquenz, general manager. “We’re seeing a significant uptick in corporate meetings demand and are thrilled to welcome local business leaders, guests and conference attendees to our newly renovated guest rooms and meeting spaces.”

According to Rodriquenz, the hotel, which recently hosted participants of the U.S. Open, is a sought-after destination for corporate, social, education and sporting groups, as well as business and leisure travelers. Function facilities at the hotel comprise 18,751 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space, including two ballrooms that can accommodate events for up to 300 and 150 people.

“Group One was honored to be selected for the Sheraton Needham project and we worked closely with ownership and the property to reimagine the public space and create a new inviting experience for guests as well as outside patrons. The renovations will help reaffirm the hotel’s position in the market and is a great relaunch for the property coming out of the pandemic,” said Harry Wheeler, AIA, principal.
