From August 22 to October 22, the Shadow Art Exhibition “Beyond the Visible” is hosted by Santo Maris open to all. Through 16 sculptures the Greek artist Triantafyllos Vaitsis works with the duality of light and shadow to interrogate issues and concepts central to our times. What we see is a trick of the light, what we perceive is a matter of perspective. Looking at the art of Triantafillos Vaitsis from another angle can reveal things we’d never noticed before, about the art and about our understanding of the world. What do you see when you look?
