CMAC partners with the Foreign Airlines Association to mitigate industry disruption

CMAC Group, the award-winning, global managed ground transport company, has announced a strategic partnership with the Foreign Airlines Association (FAA); providing reliable, resilient solutions to minimise the impact of disruption within the aviation industry.

As a result of the partnership, FAA members have ready access to CMAC’s managed ground transport solutions, including crew ground transport and accommodation as well as necessary travel and accommodation for passengers affected by irregular operations (IROPS).

At a time when airports, airlines, ground handling agents and hotels are facing significant challenges in meeting industry demands, FAA members now have a direct line to a more efficient and cost-effective solution, helping them through the summer holiday season and beyond.

Peter Slater, CMAC Group CEO, said: “At CMAC, our ethos is all about providing valuable solutions and top-class customer support as and when our clients and their passengers need it.

“It is no secret that the aviation industry is facing significant logistical challenges at this time, and as a result, we are firmly committed to providing a quick, efficient, and reliable service to clients within the sector. This new partnership only serves to further this commitment, enabling us to ease the burden on airlines and ground handlers and minimise the impact of disruption to the end customer.”

The partnership was launched with an invite-only evening organised by CMAC and the FAA in London on Wednesday 29 June after day one of the Business Travel Show, with 40 airlines coming together to celebrate the expansion of CMAC’s global disruption network and reaffirming the Group as a trusted and reliable industry partner.

Gary Kershaw, Chairman of the Foreign Airlines Association, added: “The FAA UK allows senior executives the chance to meet their counterparts from other airlines in a non-competitive manner and discuss matters of mutual interest.

“Flight disruptions are among the costliest of issues airline operators face today and, if handled incorrectly, they can damage a brand's reputation too.

“To support our members with running a successful airline business we partner with leading influencers, like CMAC Group, to deliver value.

“CMAC's solutions are invaluable to the airline community. Delivering a reliable solution during disruption and helping to keep customers happy is a priority for us all and having a dedicated partner on hand to support this is fantastic!”
