Spain eases COVID-19 entry rules for unvaccinated tourists

Just ahead of the peak summer holidays season, Spain has decided to ease up on entry rules for unvaccinated tourists coming from outside the European Union nations.

Before this announcement, only those with vaccination proof or COVID-19 recovery documents were allowed to enter the country.

Under the new entry rule, unvaccinated tourists with a negative COVID test result will also be allowed to enter Spain.

It is essential that the PCR test must be carried out 72 hours before the hour of departure, or the individual has an antigen test taken 24 hours before departure.

A decision much welcomed by all indeed, the move will make it easier for tourists to visit one of the world’s most loved countries.

As per the new COVID-19 entry rules, all children under the age of 12 need not submit any kind of vaccination proof.
