Germany adds more COVID-19 restrictions this week in hope of ray that it will soon get recovered from the human environment. Requirements to be fulfilled such as- to be vaccinated, having recovered from an infection, and testing negative for all citizens to ride public transportation attending offline anywhere.
An upcoming concern among leaders in the country because of case numbers and vaccination rates below 70% recorded. These requirements are expected to be approved by Germany’s 16 states on Friday. Angela Merkel (Chancellor) told German mayors about the condition Germany facing in this pandemic is becoming worse.
Germany reaches more than 60,000 daily new cases on Wednesday, till the highest daily number according to Worldometers. On Wednesday, daily death reaches 248, still not near enough to the country’s second peak last fall, a phase where Germany records more than 1,000 deaths on various occasions. The popular Munich Christmas market, the biggest market in the country gets canceled because of the surge.
Hamburg’s Christmas market gets restricted, locals and tourists faced another iconic moment, which remains on schedule but requires a vaccination in place to cope up with the movement. Restrictions remain lifted for international travelers such as the U.S. and Canadian residents allowed to enter Germany who is vaccinated fully.
The U.S. Centers (CDC) Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, puts Germany at Level 3 for now. Cautions the citizens to make sure they are fully vaccinated before traveling to Germany and keep following the given recommendations.
