Cosentino, a leader in hybrid material, natural stone and recycled surface production, debuted a roster of surfacing innovations and brand collaborations at HD Expo in Las Vegas.
The 600 sq.-ft. booth featured the latest Silestone offerings powered by HybriQ technology—a new hybrid product composition and sustainable manufacturing standard. The booth also displayed Silestone Evita Washbasin series and Dekton by Cosentino, a unique, ultra-compact surface ideal for interior and exterior applications. Beyond core product offerings, Cosentino is also unveiling collaborations with luxury vanity manufacturer James Martin and hospitality furniture refinishing experts Case Goods Refinishing.
“What truly sets Cosentino apart from other players in the space are the advancements we’ve made in application diversification,” said Patty Domiquez, VP, A&D sales, Cosentino North America. “We want to inspire designers and architects alike to imagine the possibilities beyond the countertop and consider the possibilities indoors and out with wall cladding, flooring, facades and more. On the job site, we also know time is money. Our new Dekton Optimma Collection offers faster and easier installation of shower and bath alcove wall cladding. Crafted from ultra-thin Dekton Lite, these pre-cut slabs are easy to maneuver and eliminate the need for fabrication.”
As for trends, Domiquez is seeing a great resurgence of embracing color. “From deep, sophisticated blues to lush greens, designers are no longer steering clear of adding pops of color to design schemes, which is completely aligned with the launch of our Silestone Sunlit Days, the industry’s first-ever carbon neutral quartz surfacing solution, offering a robust color offering inspired by nature found in the Mediterranean,” she said. “We’re also seeing a rise in the use of darker color palettes. From guest bathrooms to the hotel lobby, there’s a strong preference to incorporate jewel and earthy tones.”
