VRTECH announces the three finalists of this year’s VRTECH Startup Competition

In its fifth consecutive year, the VRTECH Startup Competition sponsored by Rentals United and Howzat Partners aims to bring the most innovative young startups in the vacation rental industry into the limelight. This year’s three finalists have been chosen and the competition will move on to the final round at the Vacation Rental World Summit on the 16th-17th of October in Annecy, France.

The VRTECH Startup Competition showcases young tech companies creating innovative
solutions for the vacation rental industry. This year’s contestants covered a wide array of tech innovations: Guest Screening, CRM, Digital Guidebooks, Property Management Systems, Housekeeping Tools, and more.

From a total of 20 participating startups, three finalists were chosen by different sets of judges: Finalist Rented, chosen by a jury of property managers, provides technology, tools, and services to help vacation rental pros optimize their portfolio of properties. Art, their Automated Rate Tool, is the only dynamic pricing software built for and by professional short-term rental revenue  managers. With Art, property managers are empowered to set the right price for every property, with intelligent rate recommendations and easy custom adjustments.

Finalist Vintory, chosen by a jury of experts and investors, is the first and only CRM and Sales & Marketing Automation Platform designed exclusively for Vacation Rental Managers to grow their inventory. Vintory’s vision is to accelerate the growth of the vacation rental market to become the preferred place to travel, work, rest and invest.

Finalist Turbosuite, chosen by the general public, is a SaaS-based Revenue Management
technology specialized in Vacations Rentals. Turbosuite uses predictive analytics using big data (2 million data for each apartment and day). Their price forecast uses a linear regression algorithm and their channel management services uses application of tariff plans segmented by customer.

The three chosen finalists (one selected in each round) will present their business in front of property managers and owners at the Vacation Rental World Summit. The crowd will then decide who takes home the award.

As a judge on Property Manager Jury, Tim Andrews from OVO Network says “I think it is
