Annual Lost Luggage Report: Allegiant in top spot, US Air last

 

LuggageHero crunched recently available data from the U.S. Dept. of Transportation’s Mishandled Baggage Report to again rank how the airlines handle your luggage. 

It goes without saying that fewer people traveled in 2020. Nonetheless, bags were still being lost or mishandled and some airlines outperformed others.

Some of the highlights from the 2020 report include:

  • Air takes the best care of your luggage for a second year in a row.
  • American Airlines overtakes Envoy Air as the worst airline to handle luggage in 2020.
  • September was the safest month for your luggage, followed closely by June and May.
