A luxury cruise ride is about to return to the magnificence of Ramayan! UP’s Yogi Adityanath government gets ready to turn Ayodhya into the biggest religious destination for Hindus worldwide. India’s Central Government is preparing for the launch of Ramayan Cruise Tour’ on the holy city’s Saryu River.
In a recent press release, the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways have explained that the Union Minister of State, Mansukh Mandaviya has chaired a review meeting for the quick execution of the services. The cruise will offer to give a bird’s eye view of the newly constructed Ram temple, Ram statue and the Ram corridor.
Facilities as well as tourism plan of the Ramayan Cruise Tour:
• The 80 -seater cruise will feature all sorts of luxuries, pantry and kitchen apart from safety and security of world standard.
• The cruise interiors will be designed as per the Ramcharitmanas descriptions.
• Large glass panels on the cruise will give way to the beautiful Sarayu ghats.
• The cruise would be environment friendly with hybrid engines, bio-toilets.
Around 15 to 16 kilometres on the Sarayu river will be covered in the cruise during which a feature film of 45 to 60 minutes will be showcased to the devotees based on Goswami Tulsidas’s ‘Ramcharitmanas’. The play will narrate the period of the birth of Lord Rama to his Rajyaabhishek. Also, the cruise will have selfie points and many other activities in and around the theme of Ramayan. The tour will end with Arti at the ghats where the travelers can participate.
By now, the UP government has declared large scale infrastructure works in the temple town starting right from doubling of the railway line, modern sewage treatment plants to setting up of an international airport. Works have by now kick-started for the construction of Satsang Bhawan, Dasarath Mahal, night shelter, etc with an allocated budget of Rs 242 lakh, IE earlier reported.
