Egyptian Tourism Ministry to launch an awareness campaign about civilization

 


On Sunday, Egypt’s Minister of Tourism Khalid Anany announced that the tourism ministry is all set to launch a new awareness campaign, in cooperation with the National Bank of Egypt, on the history of the country’s civilization and monuments.

He informed that the campaign will focus on the stories that several places around the country can tell about Egypt’s civilization, alongside showcasing its wonderful; beaches and coral reefs. The announcement comes following the celebrations of the International Tourism Day in Sharm al-Sheikh.

Minister Anany also informed that nearly thirty ambassadors to Egypt were a part of the tourism day, while sixty ambassadors visited the discovery of 59 sarcophagi containing mummies in Giza’s Saqqara. Hesham Okashe, the Chairman of Board of Directors, NBE said in a statement that the NBE will support the campaign as part of its social responsibility.
