Oman Air has decided to resume scheduled services starting October 1, and will be offering flights to 16 cities in 12 countries. As of now, the airline will connect Muscat with London, Istanbul, Frankfurt, Cairo, Mumbai, Delhi, Kochi, Dubai, Doha, Dar Es Salaam, Zanzibar, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Lahore and Islamabad. It also plans to add more destinations to its schedule soon.
Scheduled service will also connect Muscat and Khasab in Oman. However, flights to India will be subject to the decision of lifting restrictions for scheduled international passenger flights by Indian authorities. Meanwhile, Oman Air will maintain its comprehensive safety program throughout all elements of the travel journey to ensure that guests fly confidently.
Usage of masks has been made mandatory for guests both on board the aircraft and in airports. Social distancing will also be observed while guests board and exit the aircraft. The cabin crew at all flights will also be wearing a full set of personal protective equipment. The airline has also modified meal service to ensure further safety. All aircraft are being carefully cleaned after each flight and at the end of every day alongside several other steps that have been taken to keep guests and crew safe at all times.
