CzechTourism brings Czech E-Classrooms to train Indian Travel ...

Czech Tourist Authority – CzechTourism India office has been organizing Czech E-Classrooms, wherein it trains the Indian Travel Trade on the various regions and experiences in the Czech Republic, emphasizing those beyond Prague.

While the country waits for India to recover, CzechTourism India is making the best out of the current situation by educating and informing the travel trade about the various facets of the destination, which are still new to India market. This is being done via Czech E-Classrooms, which include the update on the destination’s covid situation, destination videos, presentation, questions and answers round, and ends with a short quiz. This online training platform also informs on the places with natural surroundings and are less crowded, as this is expected to be one of the priorities in the post-covid-era.

The Czech E-Classrooms not only help the tourism board to stay connected with the travel trade partners but on top is keeping them equipped with updated information about the Czech Republic for the time when the travel bans will be lifted and agents can promote the delightful and scenic country to the discerning Indian travellers.

Apart from the Czech E-Classrooms, CzechTourism has pursued several initiatives to stay connected with Indian B2B and B2C market. Several options of experiencing the fairy-tale atmosphere, preserved architectural styles, and natural resources in the Czech Republic from the comfort of your home are available. The country can be travelled to virtually or its gastronomical delights can be experienced via czechspecials.cz by trying hand at cooking the famous Czech cuisines. Apart from this, India specific Instagram handle, visitczechrepublic_in, has been launched to reach out to Indian community of travellers in a more focused manner.

CzechTourism is also set to roll out an E-Learning module for travel trade partners in India. Through completing and passing the e-module successfully, agents in India can be certified as the Czech Republic Specialist.

The Czech Republic has so far been able to fight Covid-19 pandemic fairly well and is amongst the least affected countries in Europe. The Czech Republic is already open to visitors from European countries, segregating the countries among Green, Orange and Red zones. Travellers from green zones need not go for quarantine or show any Covid-19 negative results. The incoming tourists from the orange and red zones should either be carrying recently acquired covid-19 negative result or undergo the test while entering the country. As the health and safety of everyone have remained the utmost priority, several measures related to health and hygiene are being undertaken for the citizens and travellers.
