Following the successful resumption of commercial flights on the Rodrigues route on the 1st of July, Air Mauritius announce that the current daily frequency will be increased to twice daily as from Saturday 1st of August 2020.
To comply with Health and Safety measures, social distancing must be observed at the airport terminal in Mauritius and in Rodrigues. Temperature checks prior flights and the wear of masks during flights are compulsory.

All the necessary sanitary and other precautionary measures are being taken in full compliance and even beyond what is recommended by regulatory bodies like the World Health Organisation (WHO), the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the European Air Safety Agency (EASA) and other aviation partners.
Cleaning of aircraft
A reinforced deep cleaning protocol has been implemented for all aircraft cabins including high touch surfaces, all cabin items and service equipment among others. Full disinfection of the aircraft including cargo holds is conducted as required, in accordance with recommendations from regulatory and health authorities.
On Board Cabin air quality
All Air Mauritius Airbus aircraft are equipped with High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters which offer air quality similar to that of hospital operating blocks. The air on-board is totally renewed and purified every 3 minutes.
On ATR aircraft, air quality is ensured by the continuous fresh air supplied from Environment Control System packs and the high renewal rate of the cabin air volume.
Accessories: Linens and blankets are washed and dried at 90°C. Cutlery and crockery are washed and thermally disinfected at a temperature above 70°C. Headsets are carefully refurbished and sanitised.
