DOHA: Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Romania, Vasilica Viorica Dancila, held yesterday an official talk at the Amiri Diwan.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways of developing and strengthening them in various fields, in addition to reviewing regional and international developments of common concern, especially developments in the region.
HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister and Prime Minister of the Republic of Romania witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation in the field of diplomatic training between the Diplomatic Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Diplomatic Institute of the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and an agreement on cooperation in the field of tourism between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Republic of Romania, as well as an MoU for cooperation in agriculture between the Ministry of Municipality and Environment of Qatar and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Republic of Romania.
he Qatari delegation, headed by H E the Prime Minister and Interior Minister, holds talks with the Romanian delegation.
The official talks, and the signing ceremony of the agreement and the MoUs were attended by a number of Their Excellencies the Ministers, and on the Romanian side by members of the accompanying official delegation.
H E the Prime Minister and Interior Minister and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Romania, also held a bilateral meeting during which they reviewed a number of issues of mutual interest.
