Singapore – member of the common wealth – one of the ten most visited – and richest - cities in the world. The multicultural hotspot for tourists ranks next to Hong Kong as the most important finance centre in Asia. Singapore Changi Airport represents an important hub between Europe and Southeast Asia, Oceania and Australia.
"This new long haul connection to one of the most significant finance centres of Asia is an enormous boost for us," exclams Prof. Dr.-Ing. Engelbert Lütke Daldrup, chairman of the board for Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH. "In Singapore, Berlin has an excellent reputation as an innovative Metropole and centre for technology, research and economy. In Singapore, you know that this is where worldwide start-ups and creative scenes congregate."
