Volotea, the airline that connects medium and small cities in Europe, announces the launch of a new route from Vienna to Bilbao.
The route to Bilbao airport, which will become new Volotea base in 2018, will start operating on March 29th twice a week and the airline will offer more than 20,000 seats.
This new flight adds up to the other three destinations that Volotea already serves in Vienna, where it flies to Marseille, Nantes, and Genoa. In total, Volotea offers from Vienna 71,700 seats and 530 flights for next year, increasing the capacity by 63%.

Volotea has published a special promotion on its website in which passengers are able to buy tickets from €9 during 48 hours to fly to the new destination. In 2018 Volotea will fly 293 routes among 78 European airports in 15 countries, including: France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Greece, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Israel, Albania, Portugal, Malta, UK, Austria, Ireland and Luxembourg.
Since its creation in April 2012, Volotea has carried more than fourteen million passengers across Europe and expects to transport more than 4.7 million in 2017. In 2018 Volotea will operates 293 routes among 78 medium and small-sized cities in 13 countries: France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Greece, Croatia, The Czech Republic, Albania, Portugal, Malta, Austria, Ireland and Luxembourg.
