The American Bus Association (ABA) – the industry leader advancing the North American motorcoach, travel and tour industry – urged school groups of all ages not to cancel educational field trips around the country out of fear of traveling in and around the United States.
In a statement, ABA President & CEO Peter Pantuso said:
“All 50 states in this great country host an amazing wealth of educational and historical experiences for students of all ages. School trips offer students an important opportunity to add measurable depth to their education. Despite a few recent security events, traveling in the United States is still safe and group travel is the best way to enjoy America’s landmarks. As with any visit to major city, one must remain vigilant and aware of their surroundings as a safety precaution.”
ABA’s membership includes bus and tour operators who have experience in running student field trips and can help schools plan a safe and rewarding experience for students of all ages. For more information on finding an ABA near you, visit ABA’s website.
