U by Uniworld has launched the debut cruise line for millennials, mainly those aged between 21 and 45 over the last weekend with its maiden cruise along Seine River of Paris on 7th October.
Passengers aboard this cruise ship comprised leading influencers with a mixed reach of about 10 million as well as travel agents, lifestyle media and contest winners.
Inaugural events comprised a drum circle leading to a spiritual energy onboard the liner. Champagne can be relished on the top deck, along with a dance party and a renaming ceremony where biodegradable lanterns are released to signify the release of The B’s previous incarnation as River Baroness of Uniworld.
During the rest of the journey the passengers would be able to explore the magic of yoga, silent disco, unique wine and impressionist painting classes, a treasure hunt and also a Paris City Roofs tour.
The B is actually the only cruise ship that has an all-matte black interior.
In addition, it boasts of two rooftop venues, a spa, communal tables for dining, farm-to-table cuisine, organic BeeKind amenities in all rooms and much more. The ship also utilizes WhatsApp and email for the purpose of internal communication with its 120 passengers rather than the conventional paper daily itineraries on cruise vessels.
Bar and restaurant menus are displayed on screens.
The cruise line is also keen to launch a brand new app during and after the trips that might be debuting in March 2018 prior to the first bookable European cruises along the Seine, Danube, Main and Rhine rivers.
