EoA Group is currently in the design development phase of the Playa del Carmen project: Azul Beach Resort -The Fives, a brand by Karisma Hotels & Resorts. The resort expansion is set to debut on 2018.
The firm, led by Malcolm Berg, draws influence from the natural landscape surrounding the expansive resort, a combination of intimate mangrove “cenotes” with vast, spectacular beaches. By explicitly referencing the local vernacular, the new design will infuse each area with a uniquely memorable sense of place.
Envisioned as an experience for the senses, the resort expansion is focused on the amenities Master Plan: new Club, two new infinity edge pools, several new poolside restaurants & bars, new lobby building with registration and lounge areas, and new porte-cochere.
