MCLEAN, VA—La Bagnaia Golf & Spa Resort Siena has joined the Curio Collection by Hilton. With more than 30 hotels and resorts worldwide, this is the brand's first hotel in Italy.
Approximately 7.5 miles from the city of Siena, one of Italy's tourist destinations, La Bagnaia is close to local attractions such as Piazza del Campo, the Mangia Tower and the Santa Maria Assunta Cathedral.
Features include Italian fine dining, a wellness spa and 18-hole golf course designed by architect Robert Trent Jones, Jr. In addition, the resort has a medieval village-like look and feel, divided across a number of buildings and two main hamlets—Borgo La Bagnaia and Borgo la Filetta.
Accommodations include 99 guestrooms, including 12 suites, each furnished with sourced art. The Canonica residence, for example, combines nine bedrooms, a living room and an exclusive garden. La Voliera restaurant provides local food reimagined. The venue has a terrace for dining by candlelight, enhanced by views of the hills of Siena.
