H&L Partners Wins Tourism Marketing Awards for Missouri Division of Tourism

H&L Partners (H&L), an advertising agency with a focus on tourism marketing, was celebrated for its creative and innovative work with the Missouri Division of Tourism (MDT) and Explore St. Louis.

On Feb. 21, H&L received 10 Adrian Awards (Adrians) from the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI), an organization that recognizes the best of the best in tourism marketing around the world. The agency also recently received five awards for tourism work at the St. Louis American Advertising Awards (ADDYs) on Feb. 23. The ADDYs recognize excellence in advertising in the St. Louis market.

“It’s great to have our work recognized with awards, but it’s important to point out that both campaigns delivered great results for Missouri Tourism and Explore St. Louis,” said Mark Schaeffer, President, H&L Partners – St. Louis. “Tourism is one of Missouri’s largest industries, and it is critical to the health of the City of St. Louis. We’re proud to contribute to its growth.”

H&L received four Adrians for the MDT “Its Your Show” campaign, including awards for campaign TV spots, digital ads, the digital campaign and the campaign microsite. The Fall 2015 campaign microsite and digital campaign each received awards as well. The team also received an Adrian for Public Relations (PR) – an MDT first. In addition, the agency received two ADDYs for work completed on the MDT Fall 2016 campaign microsite.


For Explore St. Louis, H&L received three Adrians – one for the St. Louis Civic Pride Brand Anthem, another for the St. Louis LGBT Campaign, and a third for the “St. Louis is the Stop for Nonstop Fun 2.0” television ad. This ad also received an ADDY. The new STL.LIVE site, which showcases all things beer, food, music and culture in St. Louis, also won two ADDYs.
