UAE cabinet headed by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai and UAE Vice President brought a new entry visa scheme in order to attract talented professionals to UAE worldwide.
This would be carried out in different phases as confirmed by Arab news. The initial phase includes visas related to tourism, health and education. Second phase however will witness talent acquisition from the sectors like health, scientific, research, technical and cultural.
To quote Sheikh Mohammed, ‘’ the new system aims to attract entrepreneurs, pioneers and talented minds in the medical, scientific, research, IT and intellectual sectors’’. He also called for establishing specialized committees to give importance to the sectors that would be benefitted from talent acquisition visa, and to attract regional and global exceptional talents as well. This project will also witness a re-launch of an entry-visa program by distributing them into different sections and groups by specifying their limits also.
Practical policies for financing, infrastructure and lifestyle are the key factors which can lure talents and various multinational corporates to come, invest and operate in UAE.
