According to a research conducted by Carlston Wagonlit Travel Solutions, corporations would be capable of minimizing travel expenses by about 15% by implementing the corporate travel policies. The research deals with the challenges of travel policy compliance and the process of influencing the behaviour of travellers.

Kadie Raddatz who is the head of CWT’s Solutions Group Americas said that travel departments end up spending adequate resources and time for getting the best corporate deals in order to keep the expenses low.

However, very often the travellers feel that the policies are not appropriate for them or they are simply unaware about the policy.

Therefore, forcefully implementing compliance is quote often a challenging responsibility for travel management.

Solutions Group has developed a traveller engagement system known as Traveller 360 (T360) that seeks probable ways to educate travellers to increase compliance of travel policies and also to recapture missed saving.

T360 comprises four different stages including analyzing, educating, engaging and competing.

Raddatz said that there is a pressure to cut down costs from all directions.
