Budget airline, Norwegian Airline has introduced its great summer sale for the year 2017 thanks to its new plan of starting US flights that cost £149 one way. The good news for travellers is that the Norwegian has slashed its prices on its 3,60,000 transatlantic seats that would be available to travellers next summer.
However, travellers would be able to enjoy this price advantage only if they depart from London Gatwick.
This airline has started flights that run to destinations including Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York and Boston. The discount is also available for premium first class seats and their fares range from £449 for one-way.
Thomas Ramdahl, chief commercial officer at Norwegian said that they are trying to decrease the fares for the summer programme of next year.
This makes it much easier for the UK passengers to travel in new aircrafts without going completely bankrupt. Ramdahl said that since they have been making efforts to foray into the UK market, the airlines company would be able to witness an increased number of Norwegians as they could now travel for more affordable fares to the leading U.S. tourist locales.
Norwegian Airlines is the one and only budget airlines that offers UK direct flights to the Caribbean and the U.S.
The transatlantic services of the airline would continue to expand from Gatwick on 31st October. There would be winter-only flights to Las Vegas and UK direct flights to Puerto Rico that would be offered to customers starting from 2nd November.
