On 25 and 26 January 2017, MindMeeting is holding its Meeting Design Training Level I in Barcelona. Eric de Groot and Natalia Barrero will team up as trainers. Eric, co-author of ”Into the Heart of Meetings”, brings his over 20 years of design experience; Natalia her 15-year background in human communications and theatre.
Meeting Design is a relatively new profession. The work of a Meeting Designer is to bring content, objectives and participants’ expectations together and to design the programme in a way that makes it effective, engaging and conducive towards the organizational objectives. He works for the Meeting Owner and cooperates with PCO’s, AV companies, Speakers and Facilitators. His final consumers are the meeting participants, and his clients’ wishes are the design compass by which he sails.
The course will focus on the main basics of designing meeting programmes and is an excellent introduction to the profession and the issues designers need to tackle in practice. Get ready for a deep-dive into actual design work, with lots of practical assignments.
