Carnival Vista, the latest cruise ship of Carnival Cruise Line has been named as the best cruise ship of the world by Cruise Critic on Wednesday. And, the best U.S. homeport is Seattle, as per Cruise Critic.
Cruise Critic felt that Seattle deserves this title as it is boasts of new light rail system that makes it really easy for commuters to move from one place to the next.
Carnival Vista had been launched in May.
And, it is quite well-known for the wide range of amenities it offers that includes 14 restaurants, brewery and an onboard water park. Besides, Carnival also won a title for being the best value for money for the third consecutive year for its great dining venues, free activities and affordable fares.
The cruise review website known as Cruise Critic decides on the winners based on the choice of the editors and therefore the awards are known as the Cruise Critic Editors’ Picks Awards.
Cruise Critic honored Disney Cruise Line for possessing the best dining facilities.
Apart from that, the editors also appreciated this cruise liner for flaunting the unique adults-only spaces and the various onboard venues that were appropriate for all ages.
The best river cruise line recognition has gone to AmaWaterways.
Viking River Cruises had won in the category of best itineraries. On the other hand, Emerald Waterways won the best cruise that has the best value for money. Cruise Critic also gave an award in the luxury category for the very first time, and named Seabourn for its service and sophistication.
The award for best sip refurbishment went to Cunard’s Queen Mary 2.
The cruise ship that offered the best entertainment title was taken by Norwegian Cruise Line. And, Holland America Line received the top honors for boasting of the best standard cabins.
Princess Cruises won in the category of best shore excursions category.
