Norwegian Cruise Line has decided to welcome passengers from Barcelona in Spain in a cruise ship named Norwegian Epic to Port Canaveral next month.
Port Canaveral is undergoing an expansion project worth $35 million for the creation of Terminal 10 in order to deal with cruise ships with a capacity of 4,500 passengers. On 12th November, the port would be opened to prepare for receiving a cruise ship with 4,100 passengers, namely the Norwegian Epic.
In the latter part of October, Norwegian Epic would bring in passengers from Barcelona cruise port to Florida’s Port Canaveral. Most of the passengers belong to Florida and would travel in the cruise ship for 16 days, making a few stops on the way.
Thereafter, Epic would be stationed in Florida during the holiday season and it would provide seven-day cruises to Western and Eastern Caribbean. In addition, the cruise ship would also offer four-day and three-day cruises to the Bahamas. The Norwegian Epic is the largest cruise vessel of the Norwegian Cruises fleet.
This cruise lines company is planning to replace its old Norwegian Spirit ship with the Norwegian Epic since Epic has double the passenger capacity and was built in the year 2010. Spirit was built in the year 1998 but it joined the Norwegian group only in 2004.
Epic has scored four stars from its reviews though the only complaint was the food. However, immediately afterwards, the beverages and food was revamped by Norwegian and it tasted success.
Some passengers also did not prefer the washroom in Norwegian Epic since the shower was out in the cabin. The cruise ship is quite big.
