One of world’s most deadly volcano, Mount Nyiragongo is giving the scientists nightmares as they have noted incredible temperature rise in the volcano in recent weeks. The volcanic mountain is situated at the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Scientists have taken several shots of the volcano, which has shown that the volcano is growing increasingly active recently. The rising temperature can result in a disastrous eruption very soon.
The Mount Nyiragongo is a part of the Virunga Mountains in Africa’s Congo. The main peak is situated near the Lake Kivu on the eastern border of the country.
The experts think that the entire region is sitting on top of a ticking bomb in the Virunga National Park of Africa. Although the volcano has not started to erupt yet, still excessive toxic gasses are being emitted from the peak, which are extremely harmful.
Previously in 2002 the volcano has taken lives of 147 people during its last eruption. The magma has been spreading at a speed of up to 37 miles per hour.
