Aimed at improving passenger service quality and managing peak traffic times, EuroAirport will be opening its new Park & Ride car park as of tomorrow, 6 July 2016. The new car park is situated to the north of the airport terminal, on the French side.
The new F7 Park & Ride car park offers 700 attractively priced parking spaces in a car park covering 22,000 m2. Linked by a free shuttle to the airport every 15 minutes, from 3.30 a.m. to 1.15 a.m. daily, the new car park combines convenience, security and reliability at a lower cost than the other airport car parks. The new car park has a covered shuttle stop. It is also fenced in and completely illuminated by street lamps with a night watchman on duty daily from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. and 24 hour video surveillance.
Thanks to the free shuttle service, operated by METROCARS on behalf of EuroAirport, passengers have direct access to the airport terminal, which is approximately 2 kilometres from the car park. The journey takes an average of 5 minutes.
Parking space prices in the new F7 Park & Ride car park are 15% less expensive than those of the F5 and F6 long-term car parks. Seven days’ parking on the F7 costs a total of 45.30 euro. It is recommended to use the F7 car park for stays longer than 2 days.
