Ryanair created a huge controversy by promising the biggest-ever flight-seat sale for their customers, only if Britain votes to stay in the European Union.
On Friday 17th June, chief executive of Ryanair, Michael O’Leary promised to reward the voters, if they choose Remain to win.
He also stated that the sale will be aimed at Messrs Johnson, Farage and Gove, who need to spend some more time abroad.
Ryanair was being investigated in May 2016 by the Metropolitan Police, for promising a ‘Brexit special’ offer to their customers.
According to Dominic Cummings, the offer was corrupt, as it promised to give a discount to the passengers, just to make them cast their votes in favour of Remain.
O’Leary denied the accusation and stated that the offer was not bribery because it will be available for all the people, irrespective of their voting preferences.
