M Social Singapore launches new hotel by Singapore River

 
The lifestyle design hotel authority, M Social Singapore, is launching their new hotel near the Singapore River on June. This hotel is a part of an integrated development project by City Developments. The hotel is the first project for the new brand of M Social Singapore. Renowned designer Philippe Starck has worked on this project.

This new hotel comprises of 293 guestrooms, rooftop pool, one restaurant and bar. The setting is contemporary yet chic. At the entrance of the hotel, there will be two sculptures of bronze peanuts. The entire hotel is covered with several artworks. There is a broad and open section in the hotel for the tourists to socialize. There will be a self-check-in kiosk for the guests to make the check-in process quick. Also, each of their rooms will have complimentary smartphone with unlimited data, local and international calls facility.
The restaurant will have open kitchen to ensure transparency and also large groups can use big communal tables in the restaurant.
Starck has used a ‘democratic design’ in order to make the comfortable design more accessible and flexible to the need of guests.
According to Starck, “M Social will be the new and vibrant place in Singapore where elegance, creativity and technology meet to offer a unique experience to our global smart tribe.”
Senior vice president of global marketing and branding at Millennium Hotels & Resorts, Paul James said, “We’re delighted to be launching M Social in Singapore, it’s great for the millennial market and reflects our departure into lifestyle hotels. As the first hotel for the new brand and with plans to expand in Asia and beyond, it’s a really exciting time for us.”
