Ascot Tours are excited to announce the third Africa Golf Safari Invitational (AGSI), for the first time held at Sun City from 19-24 February 2017.
This is a week like no other, and we have planned a seamless, exhilarating five days of golf, safari, and culinary delights for our guests. If the last two years of the Africa Golf Safari Invitational were excellent, the 2017 event will be categorised as sublime.
Ascot Tours have organised an outstanding week for your clients that will have them thanking you for suggesting AGSI for years to come. Every year, we set AGSI in a different location to keep the event fresh and exciting, and Sun City holds great promise as an enthusing new location.
Not only will participants get to play two rounds of golf on the Lost City Golf Course and 18 holes at the Gary Player Country Club, there’s a night golf shootout (a first, we’re sure, for most). Although the emphasis is on golf, these five days also include a thrilling game drive to see the Big Five, and free time during the day to explore Sun City’s myriad facilities (how about a trip to the Lost City’s Valley of Waves, where travellers can swim in a man-made ocean?).
Come sundown, we have included a variety of functions in fantastic locations every evening, ensuring the famed camaraderie of the AGSI event flourishes. Enjoy African marimba bands, karaoke, drumming, and the festivities of the shebeen (a traditional South African drinking house), while not forgetting the nightclub and casino on offer at Sun City. Participants will love our competitions, including a hole-in-one prize of a return trip to AGSI, and a chipping-and-putting contest for a ticket to AGSI 2018. And don’t forget: Winners of 2017’s AGSI will get a free trip to 2018’s Invitational.
