Base Jumping:

Know-How:This is nothing but jumping from a height with a parachute tied to your back with twist involved. But base jumping involves a BASE which can be the roof of a high-rise, a bridge, a cliff, anything which takes you to a height. Although base diving gives you a parachute to land safely in the ground, it might get windswept and smack you to a nearby building or cliff. Before you know, you will be heading towards the ground with broken bones, without an open parachute.

Where: Virginia Bridge, 390-foot cliff in Utah’s Tombstone, 450-foot Perrine Bridge in Idaho in US; 1381-foot Petronas twin towers in Malaysia are some of the places to offer this sport. You might also consider the ultimate Base of Mount Everest with an altitude of 23687.66 feet, if you have enough guts.

Wing-suit Flying:
Know-How: At some point of time or other, people always wonders;
what is it like, how it feels to fly! Here is your chance to fly like a free bird in the sky, wearing a wing-suit. This extremely tricky sport requires a person to skydive almost 200 times to understand the mechanics of the suit as it is very difficult to control the wind. Nowadays, some of the wind-suits even have jet-packs attached to it.

Where:Some of the places that you should check out are, The Eiger in Switzerland (3970 metres), Skydive City in Zephyrhills (Florida), Sky-dive Elsinore in Lake Elsinore (CA) etc. for beginners; Moab and Puerto Rico for experienced wing-suiters.

Cave Diving:
Know-How:Thrill-seekers are going gaga over the underwater cave diving right now. You might have dived inside the depths of the ocean, you might have already walked through the ocean-bed but you’ll never experience any more fear than entering a completely unknown underwater cave where there is nothing but darkness where you might never find your way back. You’ll be able to feel solitude, you might also find out some lesser-known species of fauna. One must dive at least once in the open sea before considering this sport. Go and try this, unless you are claustrophobic, scared of freezing to death or scared of darkness.

Where:Blue Hole at Lighthouse Reef (Belize), underwater caves in Florida and Mexico and most of the coastal cities which have caves under sea offers cave diving.

High-lining:
Know-How:In order to try high-lining, one must have the steadiest nerves. In this sport, one walks down from one high cliff to another. Sounds simple, isn’t it? How about crossing the distance by walking through nylon webbing that is stretched tight between two anchors? If you lose your balance, you won’t die at once; your life will literally be hanging from a thread! The trickiest part is to get back up.

Where:Norwegian fjord in Kjerag, Pierre Carrillo (Montreal), Canyon in Southern Utah, Taft Point in Yosemite National Park, Garden Valley in California are some of the places that offer this sport.

Volcano Boarding:
Know-How:Today, many tourists are opting for this insane and extremely dangerous skateboarding down a volcano. Usually people like to avoid volcanoes but some extreme thrill-seekers grab their skateboards and they race down an active volcano at the speed of 50mph on just a board. Surfers get dressed in protective suits, helmets and knee-pads. The initial speed increases as one ascends down the slope. It can cause serious damage to the skateboarder as there is no control over the speed or the direction of the board.

Where: Cerro Negro Mountain Nicargua is the place to offer this 2380ft race down an active volcano since 2005.
